What is Dyslexia?
Dyslexia is a learning disorder that affects a person’s ability to read accurately and fluently.
Individuals with dyslexia may struggle to decode words, recognize letters and sounds, and comprehend written text.

What are RocketPens and how do they work?
RocketPens are small, handheld devices that can be used to assist with reading. They use a combination of technologies to help people with dyslexia and other reading difficulties.
The pen camera is used to capture images of text, which are then processed by the onboard processor. The processor converts the images of text into digital text, which is then read aloud by the text-to-speech software.
The RocketPen Reader contains dictionaries and thesauri as well as many other features to assist with text comprehension.
How can RocketPens help with Dyslexia and reading difficulties?
- It decodes any word quickly. The RocketPen displays each word in large point size, divides it into syllables and spells it out. Some models provide definition/translation of the scanned word.
